The story was a guy dressed up in a gorilla suit proposing to his girlfriend live on GMTV.

The Polar Bear Capital of the World

I was there to film the annual influx of Polar Bears that wander into town whilst they wait for the Hudson Bay to freeze over. Then they go off in hunt for seals! 

                       

I loved the wild life!!

Uluru

Desert Sails  Uluru (Ayres Rock) Australia 

The room was very spacious with a big bed. It was clean with all that was needed but nothing special. I got some laundy done but a sock went missing.

One of the best sunset venues in the world! This was just a few moments after we finished broadcasting in to the GMTV programme.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai

25th April 2006 Room 603.

 

Huge room almost a suite, pity I only spent 6hrs in it. Apart from the modern tasteful opulence of it, the two memorable things were, the view of the Burj-Al-Arab and towels on the bed made into the shape of a dog.

We had to change hotels to get internet access for feeding out pictures.

It is not a spectacular view directly out of the window.

But through the trees it is a different story.

I won't be here long enough to see the car park in the daylight. Thank goodness. Although I could do with more than 5 hours or so sleeping!!

Hilton Gatwick room 3211

It has been a week that has seen me at both ends of Scotland with a jaunt to Ballymena in between. Motivator workouts in Muir of Ord on Wedneday and Ballymena on Thursday. A celebration of Rabbie Burns' 250th Anniversary in Sanquhar in Dumfries and Galloway this morning. There was a Motivator work out thrown in there as well.

So from the top: Kingsmills Inverness room 47, Rosspark Ballymena room 25 and at the bottom Blackaddie Sanquhar room 5 Glengoyne.

I will be putting up a few of my past hotels from time to time so look out for a snowy highlands, a South African Animal Reserve and the Burg al Arab in Dubai. Oh, and maybe the Atlantis prior to the opening of the Palm Dubai complete with fireworks ready to go!!

Sometimes the room is not so spectacular!!
